Chores and Working Duties
Chores and working duties on a family farm were varied depending on the crops, gardens, and livestock that was kept. Chores were also typically gender oriented and children helped anywhere they could.
Chores could include: Milking cows, collecting eggs, cleaning stables, hearding, picking crops, tending to gardens, picking cotton, watering, feeding livestock, financials.
